Squat it like it's hot

Dear summer you are fastly approaching, and while I'm stuck in these borrrrrrrinnggg hotels in Maryland I'm going to start a major fat burn off so this summer I can sit poolside in some new bikinis and have that beach BOD!

I'm currently on Day 13 of my Squat Challenge this month. I can definitely already see the results but I will post pictures in two weeks and change once the challenge is done so you can really see the difference. Also I've started a strict healthy diet (eat dat salad no dessert) which will be easier to keep up with when I'm in my new apartment this week =]

I honestly was so out of shape I thought this was going to be stink city to start, however each day is way easier and the first week was the hardest and its over and done with before you know. My best advice is to push through it and just do it. If I have two crazy toddlers, school, work and other things on my busy schedule and can fit it in YOU CAN TO! Ain't nothing to it but to do it!

Debating on possibly adding on the plank challenge and crunch challenge. I think the best part about all these for me is that I can do these in the comfort of my own home so when I have the little bit of extra time I take advantage of it which is great. For those of you who want to try it or just have no idea what I'm talking about therrree yaaa goo!

Askkkkk Abouttt Me!

OHHHHAIII!

Hey Guys and Gals,
Since I'm just starting this blog what better way than to give you a brief summary of me.
The name is Crystal, I'm a 24 3/4 years old cancer. ;) I enjoy warm weather, cold snacks, all types of music with the exception of country (sorry i'm not sorry), interesting people, reading books, fashion DUH, watching any movie with Will Ferrel in it, being somewhere tropical, shopping, being a mommy, and every aspect of being a girl. Born on July 17th the summer of 1988. 80's BABY! I grew up as a little gal in Connecticut then moved to good old Milford, Pennsylvania when I was in middle school until I graduated. If you like the small town life and driving 40 minutes to get anywhere I suggest you go. Not for me. Don't get me wrong it's peaceful but I just enjoy the city life. Fortunately I lived on the boarder of New York and New Jersey so I was able to enjoy only being an hour and a half from Manhattan growing up. I saved my dollars and moved out as soon as I graduated to suburbs of New york city, worked saved, Meet some really cool people. Worked for some crappy mall jobs, waitressing, bartending, Worked a really fun job at Glamour Kills. What can I say I know how to multitask like a m%$%^. Eventually ended up in Brooklyn with my best frennnn and two other fun gals.

I lived in a pretty dope apartment with an Aspiring Writer / Bartender, A ballet Dancer who went to school at Alvin Ally, and my best friend who worked at a salon in Manhattan cutting hair :)
As for me I was 19 single enjoying the perks of being in New York as a young lady(free Jack and cokes, tons of shopping, and seeing a million amazing things) working my days and nights away at Urban Outfitters (a retail store) and doing an internship in the Heart of Wall st. for a Fashion Stylist named Derek Warburton. (featured on Bravo TV Real Housewives)

Eventually I decided to become this Gypsy traveller and got tired of being single and reconnected with a friend and ended up dating him. Long story short ended moving to just outside San Diego, California. He was entirely the worst, compulsive liar, crazy, lets not go into embarrassing details just a hot mess. So to get away from some drama I stayed in LA with a fantastic friend of mine who happened to be out there doing school at F.I.D.M. Had a blast until she left then I got a job in Carlsbad, CA as an in-store clothing stylist. Which is the area I worked, and stayed until I left to head back to the East.

Anyways, I ended up back in Pennsylvania and met randomly the most amazing man I've ever encountered in my whole life, Daniel. Actually I knew him in high school but after actually meeting up with him and getting to know him, and him consistently being a dummy and saying things to make me crack up I became addicted to spending time with him I quickly fell head over heels. He has the biggest heart and can keep a constant smile on my face. It's safe to say I love him to pieces, everything about him is completely perfect in my eyes. Now we have our little family and travel with his job for Protection One Security. He's will be annoying guy coming to your city soon knocking door to door! Justtt kiddennn. (NOTREALLYDOEE) But he's an amazing manager to an alarms sales team, and I help out with the paperwork and office, take care of our boys Aston (3) and Christopher (10 months), Hustle flip style and sell clothes and shoes on Ebay, School, and dabble in all kinds of other odds and ends on the side.

Right now I'm currently in Maryland for the summer with Dan's sales team. I'm doing some school online and within the next year I plan to make some major progress on opening my own business, buying a house, and keeping this blog updated with some MAJOR style advice, DIY projects for the home and clothes, health and diet tips, music, girl stuff and just anything I can share with you on my views on life in general.
